WHITTLEY BOATS ANNOUNCE ALUMINIUM SERIES AVAILABLE ACROSS FIVE FACTORY-OWNED BOATING CENTRE LOCATIONS NATIONALLY
Australia's leading national trailer boat retailer and service provider, Whittley Boating Centres, welcomes a new aluminium boat range into its five dealerships. The new models offer Australian-made, affordably priced turnkey BMT aluminium boat packages to the Whittley brand under the new AL series.
National Whittley Dealership General Manager, Brock Cohen had this to say about the exciting expansion of the Whittley brand. "As the country's leading fibreglass trailer boat builder, with factory-owned dealerships across the country, the natural progression for the brand is to move into an aluminium series of boats and bring another generation and style of customer into our dealerships and boat brand. This decision is part of the Group's strategic plan to offer a complete full-circle trailer boat experience for consumers across the Group’s sale, service and boating accessories divisions, for all things trailer boating across the country. An aluminium series of models is offering a part of this moving forward."
The Whittley AL series offers six new aluminium boat, motor, and trailer packages that are under five and a half meters in size and attractively priced. The AL Series is available Australia-wide, across popular bow rider, side console, run about, centre console and open boat configurations. All models are available exclusively via the Whittley Boating Centre across the country, and competitive finance and insurance packages are available from the Whittley Finance and Insurance team. Boat, motor, and trailer packages start under $18,000 from any Whittley Boating Centre and include local safety equipment and registrations through to flagship models under $90,000.
"The Whittley Family owned the Savage brand in the past and has seen the success of both an aluminium and fibreglass boat brand. Building on the Group's unique boat building and dealership business model nationwide, the timing was right to offer an aluminium boat package series with boat models smaller than those built in fibreglass. Our Boating Centre sites nationally want to offer an additional aluminium boat range to complement our existing fibreglass range, the two don't compete and bring a whole new group of consumers into our dealerships to experience the new Whittley boat buying process and how it differs from our competitors." Mr. Cohen said.
The range features the direct design input of the Whittley Family, with over seventy years of trailer boat knowledge, and is backed by a three-year warranty. The Whittley AL series represents exceptional value for money and includes many standard features that boaters want.
The Whittley AL series consists of six models, featuring the innovative Super Lift Hull design across five different boat configurations listed below;
Open Tiller Steer Models
Affordable open boating has become a lot more fun and appealing with the introduction of two new tiller steel models in the Whittley AL range. The Tiller Steer range is available in two unique hull variants: the smaller TS model is designed for estuary and lake fishing and maximum stability and the larger TS model designed for bays and open waters. The two-model Tiller Series range consists of;
Whittley AL 1150 TS
Whittley AL 1280 TS
Side Console & Centre Console Models
Side and Centre Console model boats are increasing in popularity; the 1480 Side Console features a flat-sided performance hull with a stable fishing platform ideal for tournament or recreational estuary or lake anglers, whilst the AL 1750 Centre Console configuration features Whittley’s Frame Grid Welded Hull and is the ideal step into an offshore tough fishing machine. The Side & Centre Console model range consists of two variant models;
Whittley AL 1480 SC
Whittley AL 1740 CC
Bow Rider Model
Australians love bow rider style boats because of the simple fact that the bow can be used for so many activities whilst out on the water, be it fishing, cruising, or lounging around. The Whittley AL series features one bow rider model;
Whittley AL 1700 BR
Run About Models
If you are into fishing but want the protection of a runabout style boat with a windscreen, then the Whittley Runabout model is the right size to tick tick all your boxes, available in one size model;
Whittley AL 1450 RA
All models in the Whittley AL range come standard with Whittley's performance sports-oriented Whittley Super Lift Hull design. The Super Lift Hull offers improved stability at rest and underway, increased fuel efficiency, and all-around better performance over conventional alloy hulls. It is a direct result of a deeper vee hull than traditional alloy hulls while promoting stability at rest.
Mr Cohen finished by saying, "The model range offering is extensive under the new AL series of boats, across popular open, bow rider, side console, centre console, and runabout layouts. If you are considering a high-quality Australian-made aluminium boat package under five and a half meters, then you should consider a Whittley. I encourage you to review the range either in the dealership or on the company's website."
